Baldessari was an American artist known for his conceptual Art with an added Dose of Wit. His style which often featured abstract figurative imagery designed by mixing solid pop colour shapes or figures mixed with photography. His hybrid style could also include text painting. His art has been featured in more than 200 solo exhibitions in the U.S. and Europe. He lived and worked in Santa Monica and Venice, California.
